A mystery wedding proposal has been painted onto an empty shop.
The bold message is daubed onto the whitewashed windows of the empty unit in Plymouth, Devon, catching the eye of locals – many of whom have stopped to take photos.
The painted black lettering on Drake Circus, reads: “Lauren Marry Me? Ralph Age 82.”
The proposal has been described as “cute”, reports PlymouthLive.
Writing on Facebook, one reader suggested it could be fashion designer Ralph Lauren, who is 82.
Another agreed: “They legit been doing Ralph Lauren jokes for ages there.”
A third said: “Sugar daddy.”
And a fourth: “Omg that’s bad, that’s worse than when people try and propose out loud in a public space.”
The message spills over onto the door handles of what was formerly Connells Estate Agents.
Some people believe it is a joke about fashion designer Ralph Lauren
