Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the fifth and the latest installment in the Animal Crossing Series. It came out in 2020 and became a colossal hit, like the past games. Nintendo sold over 38.64 million copies worldwide. It is the best-selling Nintendo game ever after Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

The game is about players controlling a character who moved to a deserted island. The players then gather and craft more items to customize the island to attract more residents to move to the island. But another great feature of the game is the multiplayer option.
Animal Crossing: New Horizon’s multiplayer mode got famous during the COVID-19 pandemic when most people were stuck in their homes. So hosting public gatherings like birthdays and wedding celebrations were impossible. But this game became a platform to virtually host such occasions.
Wedding Proposal in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
A gamer by the Reddit name “Gay”mer Tatsuya, has decided to propose to his partner at a wedding in the game. So far, Tatsuya has made a beautiful setting on his island to host their marriage. The user has created a beautifully decorated entrance, and the aisle is decorated with flower petals.
Tatsuya even has benches like a real-life wedding setup, to let friends and guests attend the wedding in the game. The wedding stage looks beautiful with white flower decorations. Further, Tatsuya has put two bunny toys on both sides of the wedding stage.

Tatsuya shared the setup on Reddit and said, “PROGRESS! I’m asking my boyfriend to marry me in ACNH, and here’s how the setup for the big day is going!! Just the entrance and the actually getting married area lol (Haven’t asked him yet).”
From the caption, it seems like the player has more things planned on the island for the wedding proposal. As in one of the comments to this post, Tatsuya mentioned, “I won’t ask him to marry me until I’m done with my setup! So it may take me a little bit, BUT I WILL continue updating setup when possible!!”
