Such dress dramas are something Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey thought of when they launched bridesmaid dresses at their label Rixo. It’s come hot on the heels of the brand’s bridal collection launch in February.
‘Our bridal collection has been such a hit and so well received, and bridesmaid dresses felt like the next step,’ McCloskey told The Telegraph. ‘We wanted a line where everyone could wear the right shape for them but still look cohesive.’
Rixo’s bridesmaid collection features muted pastel prints in a range of silhouettes which are signatures of the brand. It means there’s something in one print that’ll suit a range of body shapes – perfect for serving grown-up bridesmaids and brides with their wedding aesthetic in mind.
‘The dresses are in our most popular shapes, so they work for the big day, but can be easily worn afterwards, too, whether that’s on the weekend, on holiday or at a summer party,’ McCloskey added. ‘A lot of our customers were buying our dresses to wear as bridesmaid dresses, so this special line will make that easier. We’ve included shapes that tick off the most common requests like sleeves, high necks and v-necklines.’
